The USSR government established the university on February 5th, 1960. The RUDN University was given the name Patrice Lumumba on February 22, 1961, honoring one of the figures who represented the struggle for African freedom. The university was renamed the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia on February 5, 1992, due to a decision by the Russian government.
Along with five other new faculties, the faculty of RUDN University’s medical faculty began classes on September 1st, 1961. This university has been a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) for 58 years. The Commonwealth of Independent States, or CIS, network university appointed People’s Friendship University as its chief university coordinator in 2009 which makes it one of the best medical universities in Russia
The university was awarded the UNESCO gold prize in recognition of its support of the training of professionals from underdeveloped countries. MBBS IN RUSSIA ADMISSION PROCESS 2024-2025
- Apply online – Before selecting a course, carefully review the data that the university has provided. After providing all the required information, a student can email documents. Documents needed to enroll in an MBBS abroad, in Russian universities
- Get the Invitation Letter – After the documents have been accepted, the student will be informed whether or not the application was accepted. If a student’s application is approved, they will be informed in 1-2 working days. The student will also receive an admissions confirmation in the same time frame.
- Payment and Visa Application – Once they have the confirmation letter, students can use net banking or other payment options to pay their tuition. After receiving the invitation letter, the student must apply for the visa as soon as possible because it may take some time. the documentation required to apply for a visa.
- Entry into Russia – The first year of tuition must be paid before the student departs for Russia. Additionally, they require that students email them with the necessary travel information. so that when a student arrives, their executive can greet them and assist them. The Rules for Admission to RUDN University for Training in Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, and Master’s Programs for the Academic Year 2022-2023 establish the contribution of each selection factor to the final ranking of the candidate.
